D Day 80 events in Taunton

There is an upcoming D-Day 80 event taking place in Taunton that you might be interested in.

The event will start with a wreath placing service at Normandy Stone in Vivary Park, Taunton at 6pm on Thursday 6 June 2024.

Following the service, a shuttle bus service will be operating, taking visitors to and from Castle Way to the main Taunton Remembers D-Day 80 event at the Somerset Wood, within Maidenbrook County Park. Here commemorations will continue into the evening with a beacon lighting, musical performances, display and more.
